Only 28 percent of 4,800 OAU graduates got accredited by NYSC

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) would mobilize 1,344 out of 4,800 graduands of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife recommended by the school for the 2016 ‘Batch B’ youths service. This was stated by an official of the institution.

According to DAILY POST,  NYSC directed schools to slash number of graduates for mobilization by at least 60 percent.

On Wednesday, Dr. Babaiide Afolabi, OAU Vice Dean, Division of Student Affairs, confirmed to newsmen that only 28 per cent of names submitted to NYSC for mobilization were accredited.
