It could be said that for the past one month since the Director General of the NYSC, Johnson Bamidele Olawumi, at a House of Representatives Committee inquiry on the N4,000 online registration fee mandated for corps members, announced the declaration of the Federal Government of Nigeria which stated that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members will from then (as at the time it was approved) receive N500 as daily feeding allowance.
The corps members has been grumbling on collection of their first “allowee” that the Federal Government despite their promise has paid deaf ear to the approval which was made earlier.
